PHILOSOPHY NOW Magazine commissioned an illustration of novelist/philosopher Iris Murdoch for their Feb/March Valentine’s Day issue as the theme of the whole issue was ‘Love’.
Using black ink an pens, I was pleased to deal with her slightly bedraggled features and made a feature out of one of her quotes in the cigarette smoke.
Not exactly a caricature but I tend towards the more realistic likeness in my illustrations these days.
